Alphonso Faltz Jr. grew up around grief. Experiencing losses of relatives starting at the age of 5. When he was just 14 years old, his entire family dynamic had taken an unexpected turn. Everything changed when he lost both his grandmother and brother unexpectedly within 7 months.

Since then Alphonso has turned his pain into purpose making an impact everywhere he goes using his experiences to inspire others. A graduate of Mount Saint Joseph High School and soon-to-be graduate of Towson University, he was featured on Towson University’s TU Today for his impact in the community, as well as in BaltimoreVoyage.

After graduating, he plans to pursue his Master’s in Counseling Psychology in hopes to provide mental health services to adolescents, young adults and athletes. Alphonso believes he has a gift for making personal connections allowing people to feel comfortable when around him. He loves people and gets energized when being around others.
